A Look Back at Commissioning

What a joy it is to be sent out commissioned and blessed by your friends.  Such was the blessing Dottyanne and I received as we took off on our mission trip to North Carolina.  The prayers of the Church have traveled with us. 

Nancy charged us to proclaim God's word and care for God's people as we worked with Wycliffe/JAARS.

The prayers of the whole congregation sent us out.  And we continue to need and covet your prayers - for us and for all the JAARS team that is faithfully working to translate the Bible into the "mother tongue" of every language group in the world.

And finally the choir sent us on our way with joy in our hearts and a song on our lips.  Thank you, all.
